A Kitchen Born From Love & Heritage

The Saffron Table was founded in 2009 by Chef Ayan Mirza, who grew up watching his grandmother transform simple ingredients into extraordinary meals in a small kitchen filled with the aroma of saffron and warm spices. Inspired by her wisdom and the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean and Middle East, Ayan set out to create a dining experience that honored those roots while embracing modern technique.

What began as a small, 24-seat neighbourhood restaurant has grown into a beloved culinary destination, celebrated for its commitment to seasonal ingredients, artisan preparation, and genuine hospitality. Every recipe on our menu tells a story — of family, of travel, and of a deep respect for the craft of cooking.
